We are always looking to improve our services so that you have better access to care. We welcome your input during our quarterly patient participation groups. By listening to you, we have introduced music in our waiting area and now have late night appointments with nurses. We have also extended the care we provide by becoming the local hub for alcohol misuse, helping people to overcome their alcohol addiction.

Extended Primary Care Service (More information on the Appointments page on this website and the CCG website)
As you may be aware, NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group started an Extended Primary Care Service (EPCS) in Southwark which started in south Southwark in November 2014 and in north Southwark in April 2015. You can find out more about the service on the CCG website. We are now carrying out an independent evaluation of the service and Deloitte are doing this for us. This evaluation aims to:
- Understand whether the scheme has been successful in improving access to primary care in Southwark; and
- Support future decision making around the best way to deliver extended access to primary care locally.
The evaluation is based on analysis of data from the two EPCS services, along with stakeholder engagement. As part of the engagement process, The CCG is seeking to gather feedback from patients on the EPCS. This includes feedback from patients that have used the service, along with those that haven’t used it, or may not be aware of the service. A short online survey has been developed to gather patient views, which you can access via the CCG website.
The survey will be live until Friday 27 January 2017. All responses will be anonymous and it shouldn’t take users more than five minutes to complete it.
